Eagle lake is famous having twice held the world and canadian record for muskie with fish recorded over 60#'s and being the home to one of the most diverse fisheries in the canadian shield with excellent populations of musky, walleye, northern pike, lake trout and smallmouth bass and trophy capabilities of all 5 species, all within range of camp during all seasons.
Our unique American Plan package includes a fly-in or guided back country 4wd safari to one of over 38 remote lakes.
Housekeeping and evening meal only plans also available.

Besides Eagle lake,it's diverse fishery and the the multitude of nearby accessable lakes the nearest towns and villages are: Vermilion Bay(5 miles),Eagle River(10 miles) bingo hall and Indian pow -wows, Dryden(22 miles)golf course, Kenora(45 miles)casino, museum. All have tourist shopping,groceries stores,tackle shops, gas stations and health clinics or hospitals.
Ft. Vermilion is a popular stopping place for those wanting to familiarize themselves with local area history. A short drive to Blue Lake Provincial Park puts you on white sand beaches and hiking/bikling trails and other nature and/or eco tourism. Activities. There are also several secluded beaches a short boat ride from camp on Eagle Lake. Sun bathing and swimming can also be done off our 320 ft pier. Wabigoon River Falls is just a short distance away up the Red Lake rd.and Buzzard Falls is accessable by boat up the scenic western arm of Eagle Lake.
There are literally hundreds of thousands of acres of public crown land accessable by logging roads and trails or water for hiking, 4wd, atv, mountain bikes and floatplanes for hiking, sightseeing, photography, fishing, hunting and other adventures. The area is teeming with wildlife to be viewed and hunted during season.
