Company Description

Our Coastal Mountain valleys provide us with an unlimited availability of fly friendly water.

The The Copper, Skeena, Nass Rivers and tributaries; with help from the North Pacific Ocean bring back year round runs of Salmon, Steelhead and Trout to our rivers. Combined, these runs of WILD fish are the largest on Earth.

We hope a trip to Spey Lodge interests you. If so, the best way to determine the time of year that suits you is via e-mail or a phone call. The owners and guides Ken Moreau and Wally Faetz receive all e-mails and phone calls, and look forward to customizing a trip of a lifetime for you.

Spey Lodge is strategically situated on the Banks of the Skeena River, east of Terrace BC. Minutes from the Copper River. The lodge is in close proximity to many of the lower tributaries of the Skeena, and many rivers that flow directly into the ocean on their own. We are located on the lower Skeena area to intercept bright fish in the early stages of their migrations. We are only at 250ft elevation as opposed to the upper tributaries of the Skeena averaging at approx. 1500 - 2000ft. Spey Lodge is also only 15 minutes away from the Terrace airport where small commercial jets fly our guests in from Vancouver BC.

Spey Lodge is the only exclusive Fly-fishing Lodge in the lower Skeena area including Terrace, don't be fooled by the alternatives! Do your homework before booking your fly-fishing trip! On the water you'll be with professional fly-fishing guides, which include your hosts, Ken Moreau & Wally Faetz. Our guides do not fish while guiding so you will receive the ultimate guided experience! We only cater to 2 guests per guide unless requested otherwise. We enjoy catering to both the amateur and experienced fly-fishers and can teach both many skills to provide the ultimate fly-fishing experience in the Northwest.

WE offer guided trips from March - December for Steelhead, Salmon & Trout.

March & April - spring Steelhead & Trout May - Steelhead & Spring Salmon (chinook) June - Kings Salmon July - King, Sockeye, Pinks & Chum Salmon August - Dry Fly Steelhead & Coho Salmon (silvers) September - Dry Fly Steelhead & Coho Salmon (silvers) October - Dry Fly Steelhead & Coho Salmon (silvers) November - Copper River Steelhead
