Had been told it was a terrible place to fish, however, have caught fish on every time out.

Have taken the kids out and have been very successful catching bluegill and sunfish with a simple #9 hook and nightcrawler. During the mating season, the mating holes are readily visible from the shore and you can catch a fish with a pebble it is so easy.

Channel catfish are present and hit on worms and chicken liver from the shore. The areas furthest away from the parking lot have been great fishing spots. The small coves on the backside of the lake have been great places to land 16" channel catfish.

People say there are bass in the lake, however, I have never had any luck in catching any.
