Killdear Res. has been drawn down to half it's normal level because of week points in the walls. It's harder to launch your boat and the fishing has gotten tough. in saying that, there is still great fishing at times here. I've caught lots of walleye and channel cats by trolling the structures with a 1/4 oz chartruse jig w/2"chartruse metalflake twintail grub body.(killer lure for this lake. This lake can be the best lake you ever fish at times, I've never been skunked here, and many, many days of over a hundred fish a day, That's no lie!!! we've had days of a fish every few seconds wth several doubles and triple hook-ups, fish at a 20' depth with the lure above and good luck!
