Most of the information in this review is reletively accurate. There are however no paddleboats, only rowboats and canoes.

The lake is open from late March through the second Sunday in November. This is subject to change and it would be good to check ahead of time, 919-942-8007.

THERE ARE NO... Smallmouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Striped Bass, White Bass, Yellow Bass found in University Lake.

The lake is home to Largemouth Bass, Catfish, Black & White Crappie, and a variety of Sunfish. It is run by Orange Water & Sewer Authority primarily as a water supply and recreation is secondary.
