fishing was poor. talked to a local trout guy, and was told lake has been hit hard by meat eaters, plus carp have devastated the bass fisherie

Bass fishing is not what it used to be, but I was only there for the weekend and managed to land a few nice Smallmouth near the rock slides on the South side of the lake. One weighed in at almost 3 lbs., and was a blast to real in. The other maybe broke 2 lbs. Also trolled for some Silvers, and cought a couple of keepers and a few smaller ones we released. Wish I would have had more time to try the lily pads for some Largemouth, but the weekend flew by.

June 2009 - Great 4 days troling for Kokanee. Loads of fish, plus a good Largemouth and Rainbow in the bargain.
