As a lake resident and fisherperson, I highly recommend this lake for bass. Late spring along the shore brings the spawning females. Facing north, to the left of the narrows (evident when on lake)is a weeded and subwater level rocky area - this seems to be active all year. Typical of bass, early mornings and sunset are most active times. I hold the current "household" catch with a 24" large mouth. There is a state access ramp off Chabacco Road in Hamilton. Advised to eat only minimal amounts of fish from the lake due to high lead content in waters.
