We had a wonderful year of fishing here on the Anchor River. The King run numbered over 8,000 fish and the silver run was almost double that. My 24 year old daughter caught a 26 lb. King the first morning we fished in June and I caught a 36 lb.er one evening right in front of our place. My wife showed up a whole group of experienced fishermen when she landed two silvers over 15 lbs. within ten minutes of each other in the second week of August.
