Blue March Lake is fished very heavy through out the year. It does however have some very nice smallmouth, strippers and cat fish. The lake is loaded with carp. Best fishing for bass is often during the night during the summer. Again, this is a very popular boating and fishing lake so try to avoid weekends. Worms and jigs are very popular along with other traditional bass lures. Good luck
