I live in muncie and frequently fish this resevoir. There is definately a problem with this lake being overfished along with most people keeping their catch. I believe this lake was stocked last year with a large amount of walleye fingerlings, panfishing is good, for perch and crappie mostly. I've caught a few walleye last season but all were rather small, perhaps only 1yr old, nothing larger than 1 pound, although I've heard of relatives and friends that there is much larger fish caught there, although not on everyday occurance. Catfishing is rather good if u go back n the coves. I mostly fish for bass though and i catch atleast 3-5 a trip, mostly 2-4lbs. I spend a long time on the water and fish 2/3 of year there. Bass can be caught by damn, bridges, points and coves, i prefer to fish shallow because thats where i catch 90% of my bass. Smallmouth are there too, decent sized ones also, 2-3lbs. Use shallow running cranks, tubes, buzzbaits along rock banks in morning, topwater poppers on west shore, jerkbaits are a must, use green, black, brown colored lures. Best time of year of course is spring and late fall. Wouldnt be caught dead there n dead of summer though. Didnt catch nothing for 2 straight months. Try going early during the summer if u do decide because it being such a small lake the skeiers take up all space and 50% of the shoreline is pontoons and all of them out. very busy place at times. Thats all, besides that, the people are very friendly here and will help u out for better spots or live bait choices.
good luck.
