It all began in 1974 when a talented
machinist with a manual lathe created the
first STH reel. It was a simple yet elegant
reel, machined from solid bar stock aluminum.
It was so impressive that a group of fly
fishermen and friends teamed up to
manufacture and market these reels in
Argentina. Later, we expanded our market to
22 different countries.
We were the first company in the world to use
a high quality Swiss CNC machine to produce
fly-fishing reels. Through creativity,
innovation and experience, STH still sets the
trend to shape the way you fly fish. In fact,
our unique designs include several that are
patented or patent pending including the
Cassette, POP Cassette and Turbine Drag*
Systems. We will provide you with the best
fly fishing tools available in the market
today and back them up for all your
tomorrows. Thanks for your support that has

Warranty
All STH Reels are covered by our uique AFTER
SALES SERVICE 1-800-847-6787. We will, at our
option, repair or replace any STH reel which
is found to be defective in workmanship or
materials as long as the original purchaser
owns the reel. Damaged reels not covered
under this warranty will be repaired or
replaced for a reasonable fee should failure
occur due to misuse, neglect or normal wear.
This warranty is not valid unless the
original purchaser sends the warranty
information card. Do not return damaged reel
to your dealer. Should any problem arise with
one of our products, simply return it for
immediate repair or replacements. For repair
or replacement, please return the entire reel
in a cardboard box. Be sure to include a note
with your name, address and phone number.
Also include $10 for return postage. All
