The Miramichi River remains one of the North America's healthiest and most prolific rivers for wild Atlantic Salmon and Brook Trout.
As we move into 2004, Pond's on the Miramichi proudly maintains the rich traditions and meticulous service of a fly-fishing lodge and the facilities and programs of a full-service, year-round adventure resort.
Fishing the Miramichi River
The Miramichi River is one of the most productive Atlantic Salmon Rivers in the world. It is our privilege to offer guests exclusive use of nine miles of private water on its Main Southwest Branch. Pond's reputation as one of North America's premier salmon angling destinations for the past 76 years is built on results and attraction.
While at Pond's enjoy the ambiance of our log cabins, reminiscent of traditional old time Miramichi fishing camps. Also available are private individual guest rooms. Our lodge is particularly popular with couples.
A full compliment of fishing tackle, flies, angling accessories, clothing and gifts are available at Pond's Orvis-endorsed lodge and tackle dealer. The proper gear for the Miramichi is available on site.
