Fishing

For example, try arriving at Shady Oaks Resort in the late afternoon to the smell of barbecued ribs sizzling on an open grill. (That's your dinner cooking!) Then, spend the evening at the resort, where all you hear is the sound of whippoorwills as the cool breeze blows up from the lake.
Rise bright and early to a giant home-cooked breakfast complete with biscuits and gravy. Then, head to the river to meet your guides. Spend the day floating and fishing the beautiful White River, catching quality trout worth bragging about.
That evening, camp along the river while your guides treat you like royalty with a steak dinner that is simply unmatched anywhere. (Watching the cooks at work is an experience in itself!) Arise the next morning to a delicious breakfast as your guides prepare for another day of world-class fishing on the White River.
At the end of the day, return to Shady Oaks Resort for a light dinner, fresh shower, comfortable bed and a good night's rest before your return trip home.
Our basic fishing trip on the lake or river includes: guide, boat, motor, fuel, natural bait, box lunch, drinks and care of your catch.
