Deer Creek Doe Shelter is located below the dam at Deer Creek Lake.
The area is very popular for picnicking and fishing.
The area is open for use all year, but the shelter is only reserved during the summer months.
Electricity is not available at the shelter.
There is a drinking fountain located at the shelter along with one large charcoal grill and two smaller charcoal grills.
The creek flows within 40 yards of the shelter so fishing is easily accessible.
The playground is 40 yards away. Flush toilets are 50 yards from the picnic shelter.
The picnic shelter and restrooms are handicapped accessible.
Other areas at Deer Creek Lake offer hunting, fishing, boating, camping and hiking.

Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance.

No swimming or wading.
Pets must be on a leash.
Reserving the picnic shelter does not reserve adjacent parking, playground or open space.
The park closes at 10 pm except for fishing.
