We have no black flies and practically no flying insects. Spacious mowed lawns, good view of Bass Cove. Access from our park by boat to one of Canada's best walleye (pickerel) fishing waters. There are launching and docking facilities for up to medium sized boats. There are boat rentals nearby and we are only a short boat ride to Lake Ontario, Bay of Quinte waterways and just 3 miles to the head of Hay Bay and Sherman's Point. Finshing in the Quinte area is excellent for game fish especially for the popular Walleye. Our park opens into Bass Cove.
Wilderness ambience, combined with good roads and access to towns and historic sites. Golf course within 1/2 hour drive and famous outlet beach. We are 33 miles west from Kingston, the gateway to the Thousand Islands, where daily cruises are available. The Sandbanks Provincial Park with its beautiful Daytona-like beaches is located minutes from Picton, 8 miles to the west.
Pets are welcome if kept on a leash, on own site and supervised by adults. Fresh cool breeze from Bass Cove most of the time. Our campround is quiet and restful and caters mainly to fishermen, senior citizens and small families.
