As a child my family and I (very large family) all camped at Idlewood on the lake. This was a safe haven for the whole family. Many cherishable memories were made there! Now as an adult my family and I are considering revisiting Idlewood for a weekend stay. I know things have changed in 30 years but camping is camping. I do know that the campground is in a good area that is close to many restaurants, fishing ports, boat docks and shopping centers. Plenty things for a family to do.
