United we stand, divided, well… I hope you like tofu. In part, the protection of our hunting and fishing traditions is based on the marketing aspect. Hunting and fishing are multi-billion dollar industries, which support a large portion of our economy. Add to that, the continuing need for animal management, our natural reliance on animals for survival, and it’s hard to imagine that some day our traditional outdoor sports, our pets, and our consumption of meat could one day be history. Personally, I find it hard to believe that the ARA (Animal Rights Activist) movement will ever achieve their goal of federally mandated veganism, but the propaganda of these groups is both real and dangerous to not only sportsman, but to all of society.

In part, the goals of ARAs, groups such as PETA, is to outlaw the use of animals, outlaw pet ownership, outlaw hunting, outlaw fishing, and provide legislation that would ban the eating of meat, or use of animals in any form of research for the betterment of humanity. While much of the propaganda these groups display is simply absurd, it inflames the emotions of some people, and these people donate to these organizations. ARA’s do gain some corporate support, and have support of the ultra-leftist political machine. I believe the entire ARA and vegan movement is a scam, duping people into donating money to the organizations, which profit from the displaced emotional "knee jerk" response of people who are uninformed of the true agenda of ARA’s. ARA organizations profit from extreme and sensationalistic propaganda, and could be compared to any dangerous cult movement in America.

The truly dangerous aspect of ARA’s is that they advocate violence against Americans who do not believe as they do. It’s interesting, that ARA’s claim to be of a higher civil order, but display hatred, violence and contempt for any American who does not worship or embrace their movement. ARA’s such as PETA, target children in schools with anti-hunting, anti-fishing and other propaganda supporting their scam. PETA believes that even the animal names of school sports teams should be removed, as it subconsciously teaches children to be abusive to animals later in life. ARA’s are teaching their values to our children. They look for issues to publish and preach which will divide us as sportsmen, in order to help them complete their task of legislating their views upon us. They look for ways to use our disagreements on issues against us. It’s a destructive and perverted format, which is aimed at restructuring the balance between animals and humanity. The goal of ARA’s, as ludicrous as it may seem, is to take over our Government from within, and control how we live at both the Federal and State level. They have meetings, rallies and have strong support to get their word out, they have support of prominent politicians, actors, corporations, and other support from the far left.

We as sportsmen, parents, and people who care about both animals and humanity must continue to unite. We must become more active in conservation, and in protecting our traditional rights. Although I believe the goals of ARA’s are totally unreachable, we do not need to stand for being threatened by groups of people who want to force their agenda upon us. We need to seek out the corporate supporters and individual funding entities of these groups, and expose the twisted movement they support. We need to educate ourselves on the true desires of ARA’s, and stand together in the fight against their cancerous invasion to the prosperity of humanity. Simply put, what becomes of fishing and hunting in America is totally up to us.
