The paddlefish is a protected specis in the great state of Indiana and if a paddlefish is snagged or caught it is to be released back into the water that it came from unharmed. Paddlefish are usually snagged on the Tippicanoe river system below Oakdale Dam. These fish can grow 5 to 6 foot in length.

Please check your state fishing regulations before fishing for quanty and size limits and the protected specis of fish in your area.

For creek fishing, use spinners and worms. If that does not work, go with minnows.
