I catch these in a creek with cut chubs and gills on a bottom rig. It's normally just 10"ers, they fight amazingly.

Bullheads occur primarily in rivers and streams although you may find them in lakes. A nightcrawler with a slip-rig fished after sunset will produce plenty of them if you are intrested.
