fishing in florida in the St lucie River I catch many croakers, tip for the day is to use a small hook 1/2 a shrimp, u must peel it. Cast your line out, let it hit bottom wait for 10-15 seconds then jerk your rod tip twice and wait. You will need to be on the ready for a quick bite and hook set. I find this to be the best method to catch many fish in a short time.
