I fish mostly in the Northwest River in chesapeake and have found these fish react alot like brim to small jigs. They have a tendency to hang in large numbers in the spring and fall.I just caught about 15 around a stump on 11/11/06.Mostly in all cases the water was clean and more than 3'.
