I would definately fish off of the big logs that catch in the tides, or at least near to them. It makes you feel like you are not alone out deep at sea. I also would drop a lot of bait inside of a tire and drag it behind your boat. Good chun or chum. There is also live bait instead of chopped up stuff. It makes the fish think the bait is alive.
