Lunkerhunt Lunker Frog

The Lunkerhunt Lunker Frog is the most life like frog currently available in the industry. The Lunker Frog replicates a frog and has swimming legs that extend during the retrieve and retract on the pause. The Lunker Frog behaves just like a living frog would in the water. At rest, the body of the Lunker frog drops down a little into the water perfectly replicating the action of a frog/bullfrog. This also results in higher hook-up percentages. The Lunker Frog features high quality components, a super soft hollow body construction, and a weedless design.

Pocket Frog

  • At rest the Pocket Frog is 1.75 inches and will extend to 2.5 inches on the retrieve. This size will represent a young frog.

    Lunker Frog

  • At rest the Lunker Frog is 2.5 inches and will extends to 4.5 inches on the retrieve. This size will represent a adult frog.

    • great frog!  September 3, 2016

this frog has hit the mark, My frog fishing has increased about 1000%, I have thrown many hollow body frogs and did OK with them, After I switched to LUNKERHUNT frogs, not only has the strike ratio went through the roof my hook ups are around 90% without altering anything. My confidence has went through the roof with these baits and I will throw a different hollow body frog in the same place as these and only get a few blow ups and MAYBE half would be hook ups.

Catches fish. Walleye, Rockies, spots. Catches them all

The detail on the Pocket Frog is superb, just like on the original but the hooks seem to be way undersized. In playing with the new frog and depressing it as if a bass has clamped down on it, the hooks are barely exposed enough to penetrate a bass' mouth. I bought five of the Pocket Frog and after getting the shipment I'm very concerned that it may have been a worthless purchase.

Review:Lunkerhunt frog At first glance I was impressed with the detail and interested in the action of the frog. After using it for the first time, I had a small fish take one of the legs right off. Contacted the company about getting extra set of legs and they were no help. There suggestions were to purchased a replacement silicone skirt to continue to use the body of the frog. Then they tell me "We are also in production with a "NEXT GENERATION" Lunker Frog which will have improved leg durability and swimming action." Boy the confidence level that this bait will work is not great. As a tournament fisherman, it's hard to recommend this bait to your money.
