    Lews is nothing more than basspro reel with no service
    I bought 2 SS1S speed spools $89 and 2 tournament speed spools TH1H. Tried the both back in November and all had same issue spring breaking after a few fish. Called Lews in November no one answered after 7 messages, Called in December after 7 phone calls a lady answered and said someone in service would call me. Never did. Here it is 2nd last week in January with broken reels. Went looking for reels that are close to it and found Pflueger or basspro qualifer, or academy H20 mettle and spring matched perfectly so I ordered the part from Pflueger. Basically a Pflueger or basspro qualifer with a tear drop hanlde, black paint, no parts or service. Wouldn't waste my money on a company that won't stand behind its reels. Did talk to the dealer that sold it to me and they are dropping the line due to complaints with service and reel not reliable.

    Biggest Advantage
    Tear drop handle that is it and basically a Pflueger, H20 Mettle made by Academy, or basspro qualifier reel, so even though you cannot get parts from Lew's you can take parts from these other reels to fix it. Sad Lew's don't back up its products.

    Biggest Disadvantage
    Lew's is having trouble backing up its products and is not servicing its customers. Barely answering their phone and good luck getting call back or 72 hour service turn around.
