I went out to a little lake stocked with splake and tigers... got three nice little splake but my friend got a tiger. He was using a silver and blue Len Thompson spoon... not sure of the size. It is the first time I've seen a tiger trout... are they ever beautiful. Hope to catch a few myself.

Well last weekend I found this little canal were we could see the trout and salmon. I learned that using rooster tails, and rapala minows work the best. We caught 4 Tiger Trout ranging from 2.5 pounds to almost 4 pounds. I am hoping to beat the record of 4 pounds 12 onces set back in 1988.
