Unlike traditional weedguards, the Stucture Guard does not collapse when fished through cover which keeps hangups to a minimum. The Structure Guard is designed to roll to the side when the fish bite down, which exposes the hook point and allows for sturdy hooksets. To add a trailer to the jig, simply slide the Structure Band off of the hook and up the Structure Guard, place your trailer onto the jig, and then slide the Structure Band back down the Structure Guard and back onto the hook.
