Rat-L-Trap, Rattletrap, or The Trap …no matter how you spell it…Its understood that it has been the number one selling hard bait for over 25 years. This is no mishap. The Rat-L-Trap has Liv-N-Sound which produces a life-like replication of distressed baitfish that predator fish just can’t resist. In fact, many people have said that “a better Rat-L-Trap” couldn’t be made…Well..They were wrong!

NEW..this year, the Rat-L-Trap will be offered with several upgrades that only make America’s Bait better.

Set-Lok Hooks, have been custom designed by the experts at Bill Lewis Lures. These guys have fished every hook known to man on a “Trap” in the past 25 years. Set-Lok hooks are made by Eagle Claw exclusively for the Rat-L-Trap. They feature Lazer Sharp points for a sticky catch and entry, and follow up with a beefy wide-gap to ensure a strong hold all the way in.

Dura-Shell finishing coats, ensure a long lasting paint job on all upgraded Rat-L-Traps. Even chrome lures will not chip or flake paint after going through the New Dura-Shell baking process.

Oval-Shaped Split Rings have been added for the line-tie to provide even more action on the retrieve. Also, you won’t have to worry about your line slipping into the split ring groove and fraying your line with the Oval-Shape design.

Bleeding Craw colors (390, 391, 392, 393) have bright red treble hooks.
