G. Loomis Bass Rods - Drop Shot Spinning Rods

A rod unique in action as the technique is to bass fishing. Our new Drop-Shot Rod is a balance of subtleties and strength. You'll appreciate the soft tip for twitching the baits, and when you lift the rod (you don't set the hook with this technique) the power will surprise you. Lightweight and durable Fuji Alconite guides are stacked forward to accomodate an extremely fast taper. Fuji ECS trigger "blank through" reel seat and premium cork on the casting version and our own special "reel forward" custom reel seat on the spinning version make these rods as special as the technique for which they are designed The blank is an attractive moss green with stiking green/brown wraps. The technique isn't exactly brand new, but the rods are, and it may change your mind about this exciting style of finesse fishing. Join the G-Loomis 'drop-shot" revolution!
