There is little doubt in the fishing world that topwater walking baits can draw ferocious strikes from large game fish. The gliding, "walk the dog" action of this style of lure has proven to be timeless. River2Sea set out to improve upon a classic, and Rover is the new generation of walking bait.
In two sizes, 98 mm and 128 mm, Rover's action turns the leisurely weekend dog walk into a sprint through the park. Instead of the gliding action anglers are accustomed to, Rover's choppy, side-to-side slashing will draw vicious strikes like a pit bull attacking its prey.
Rover’s face features an exaggerated cupping that spits more aggressively than other baits of this genre. Rover's cupped mouth and geometry also create one of the most unique actions ever experienced in a lure of this type.
River2Sea combined two rattle sounds to announce Rover's presence to predators We paired the loud knocking of our exclusive Tungsten Force System with the higher pitched chatter of glass beads for an unmatched fish calling attraction.
All of these features, combined with premium Daichi treble hooks with a feathered tail hook and eight of River2Sea's premium finishes make Rover a best in show champion fish catcher.
