Another new product is the Great Lakes Jewel (GLJ). The GLJ has a unique hex cross scale pattern with superb finishes proven to catch fish. This spoon has a traditional hump curvature found on many spoons but the proprietary silver finish belly pattern and unique finishes more closely mimic alewives and ciscoes than most spoons. This hex-cross pattern reflects light 40% greater than other scale patterns at 40 feet down. This is critical to mimicking the primary forage baitfish. The Great Lakes Jewels come in 8 finishes.
The 1/2oz Great Lakes Jewel works best at slow to medium trolling speeds with a gentle but enticing wobble. Again the 4 1/2 inch length is the ideal size for large water gamefish. They have the same powder coated epoxy finishes that are used on the Savant and Needle Nose Spoons so they won't chip, crack, or peel and will last trip after trip. Top of the line VMC treble hooks are included and single Salmon hooks are enclosed with each spoon.
