The Co-MATRiX 457 series provides a well balanced combination of power and sensitivity in one award winning series. The filament wound butt section provides maximum hookset, castability, and rod control, while the Multi-Modulus tip provides the ultimate in lure presentation and sensitivity. All 457 series rods feature our superbly designed "Comfort Grip" which combines quality Portuguese cork and Hypalon into what has been said to be the most comfortable grip ever to grace a fishing rod. Featured in the rubberized butt cap is a removable nylon cap which allows the addition of weight to the butt end for fine tuning the rods balance point. Add a high impact graphite filled Nylon 6 reel seat, Fuji Hardloy guides at "Concept" spacing and you have a rod to be reckoned with by any fish that swims.
