Another great week of fishing at Aquia Creek. It was very cold, but clear, when we launched from Hope Springs Marina. Immediately went over and fished near the bridge and caught 3-4 fish each in about 20 minutes using small jointed crankbaits. Nothing real big there. Also caught a few Perch. Continued back upstream on the North/East side and caught a few more (also witnessed a guy fall out of his boat...must have been cold). Continued up to Burl's Bay and cought a few more. Got one that went 1.7lbs. Went back downstream and fished past the railroad bridge in an area that looked like it was an old dock. Lots of fish swimming around, but we couldn't get them to hit.

Swung back up to Hope Springs and watched the weigh in of the tournament (not sure which group it was though). Sounded like the big fish went 3.8 lbs. That was the biggest I heard anyway. Also saw an older couple fall our there boat as they were trying to dock here. 3 people in the water in one day...don't think I have seen that many all summer.

From there went back up to Burl's Bay and caught a few more. many 1 pounders and a 1.6 pounder. Then towards the end of the day we hit the lilies at the left before entering the narrow part of the creek and got another that went at 1.5 lbs.

It was a good day...again.
