My name is Steven Narup I was born in Illinois, at the time I did not know what the wonderful sport of bass fishing was. Later on in my life, I then moved to Long Island New York. Every weekend my dad and I would go fishing at a local dock that was located on the bay. This was where I then got addicted and have never stopped fishing since. After 6 years, we moved to Harford County Maryland, about an hour from the Potomac River, and thirty minutes from Loch Raven Reservoir.

When I moved to Maryland I began to watch and take in everything I could about fishing and this is where I saw my first Bassmaster television show, I said to myself this looks like it could be fun, so I then taught myself how to bass fish on my own. Now all I do is bass fish, I occasionally fish for catfish and stripers as well. I have around 7 years of bass fishing experience in my book, and I am still taking in as much as I can. In the upcoming years, I would like to start expanding what I do with the sport of bass fishing and I would like to start fishing tournaments and writing a lot more articles. As of now, I am a member of the fishing team called Team Extreme, and in my later years, I would like to become a professional bass angler.

Some of my articles appear on sites such as Braggin.com, Landbigfish.com and probass.com. I like to fish a lot of the Lakes Rivers and reservoirs in Maryland, such as the Susquehanna River, Loch Raven Reservoir, and Atkison Reservoir. When I am not fishing ill be studying the sport of bass fishing, in fishing magazines that I collect.
