Kevin | Posted: July 28, 2007

Nice fish but not a yellow bass - appears to be a carp or sucker

andrew | Posted: June 12, 2007

WenJen | Posted: February 11, 2007

That would be right if it was a Yellow Bass, but you are holding a Carp.

George | Posted: October 1, 2005

This is the strangest looking "yellow bass" I've ever seen. Maybe its the angle of the photo. :-)

james zielinski | Posted: August 19, 2005

i'm sorry to inform you that that fish is a carp

Jamie Moore | Posted: August 2, 2005

It's obvious to me that it is a carp, but a good catch though.

Andy | Posted: July 11, 2005

I Think Thats is a carp isnt it????

OUT | Posted: May 4, 2005

That is a carp or sucker. which ever u wish to call it.Yellow bass is a member of the true bass family.

Benjamin Hauber | Posted: February 26, 2005

That particular fish would be a carp, though at that size one could mistake it for a yellow bass.

Markham Dickson | Posted: August 30, 2004

Well its a fine fish. But I think it is not a yellow bass. They are kin to white bass and stripers and look similar. This appears to be a carp of some type. Nice fish though and caught on a artificial worm! I wish I could catch carp... maybe I should try white worms.

J.E.B. | Posted: July 29, 2004

Yeah, that's a carp. Take a look at the yellow bass picture I posted - see the difference.

mAngler | Posted: May 28, 2004

That's a carp, sorry.

Mark Billets | Posted: April 28, 2004

Looks like a carp to me not a striper, yellow bass is another name for a striper.

A. B. Swart | Posted: April 13, 2004

I call 'em buglemouth bass. Fun to catch.
