My pond is kidney bean shaped, with a length of 25 feet. The widest point is around 12 feet. The deepest section is 3 feet. The back side, right in the middle, sits a big 4 by 6 foot flat rock for easy viewing. The far side has a nice waterfall which is lined with rock and slate. It was built in the summer of 1999 and started off with 8 comets and 4 koi. Currently, they're over 80 fish with some of the koi being around 10 inches long. It has never been fished except for the heron that keeps visiting. :)
