I have fished this stream several times in the past. The locals only fish for the salmon while they are running. I fished almost the entire length of the stream except the Indian res. they would not give me permission. There are more large brown trout in this stream than anny that I have ever witnessed, some of the pools are 50 ft. deep and you can see the monster browns swimming around asthe water is gin clear. I landed two 17 inchers in the first pool I fished and it was noon on a hot 4th of july day and a family that was camping near by had just finished a swim in the pool. If that is not enough to make you want to visit this place than think about the fact that I fished three days on 15 miles of stream on the fourth of july and never saw another fisherman!
