I started fishing in the late 1960s and started fishing bass tournaments in 1970. I've been fishing for redfish and speckled trout since the early 1980s.

It was a natural progression for me to make. What I learned fishing for bass has served me well as I now fish for saltwater species: Knowing seasonal patterns and being keenly aware of water conditions, temperature and other important details allows me to find fish for you.

I began fishing for redfish and speckled trout in the Leeville/Golden Meadow area. But even then, all I heard about was Venice. So I finally decided to check it out for myself.

I've now been fishing in this area for more than 10 years, and let me assure you, the fishing here is phenomenal. From redfish to trout, flounder to bass, they're all here in the lower Mississippi River Delta.
