Light tackle and fly fishing for 1 to 3 anglers in Sandy Hook area, Raritan Bay and coastal Monmouth county ocean waters.
The “PrimeTime” is a 20ft. Grady White walk-around with full enclosure, up to date electronics, and is powered by a 200hp Johnson outboard. This boat is designed for a safe, comfortable experience on the changeable waters found on the New Jersey coast.
The “PrimeTime” is located at Marina on the Bay in Highlands, N.J. All fishing tackle is provided. We will use light tackle consisting of Penn reels and Ugly sticks, or bring your Fly rods. We use various methods including trolling, chunking, drifting and chasing schools casting or jigging for these terrific fighters
Owner / operator Capt. Karl McKenna is a U.S.C.G. licensed Master and P.A.D.I. Dive-master. Karl has over 40 years of experience fishing and diving in the New Jersey coastal waters. He specializes in light tackle fishing for Stripers, Bluefish, Weakfish and Fluke. He is also enthusiastic about Flyfishing for Stripers and Bluefish and loves to guide other Flyfishermen, whether they are beginners or experienced veterans.
The fishing grounds are just 15 to 20 min from the dock, which leaves plenty of fishing time. Everything except food and drink is supplied. Bring a cooler for your catch, which we will clean, ice and package at no charge.

NJ Garden state parkway south to exit # 117
Highway 36 east towards Gateway Recreation Area "SANDY HOOK"
Travel Approx. 12 miles to jughandle for "Highlands" business district. (just past the Stewards on the left.)
Take jughandle and cross Highway 36 and go down Linden Ave to stop sign.
Turn left at stop sign "Waterwitch ave."
Next stop sign (bottom of hill) is Bay ave. turn right
travel 5 blocks to Marina on the bay Condos on left
turn left into condos to the end park in parking lot
The PrimeTime is located on the center dock slip # 16 about half way out and on the right.
