I highly recommended captain Randy! We had a fishing adventure in November that will long be remembered, guaranteed! I also have the entire trip video tapped to share with friends and fishing buddies. The primary target species was big Jew fish (Goliath Grouper). However, we started the day having a blast catching Ladyfish, Jacks, and Spanish Mackerel, of which we kept the largest ones for bait. Mixed in with the bait catching, we also landed several nice Spotted Sea Trout and Snook. Next on the agenda was Big Jew fish. Within 2 hours of arrival at the honey hole, we managed to catch and release 6 Jew fish weighing between 90 – 180 lbs each. If you ever caught big off shore grouper, you know exactly how strong and difficult it is to separate them from their homes. Well let me tell you, it is hard to imagine just how hard one of these big bruisers can pull, even with extremely heavy tackle. Needless to say, it was a fishing trip of a lifetime and I can’t say enough about what a pleasure it was to experience the trip with such a wonderful guide. Thanks Captain Randy!

I would HIIGHLY recommend chartering a fishing expendition with Captain Randy. My husband and I chartered with Captain Randy in July 2004. It was the fishing trip of a lifetime for me. First, we had to catch the bait to catch the bait that we're were going to use to catch the Goliath Grouper. Catching the Lady fish was a blast. Once I figured out what to do, Captain Randy stayed busy taking off the Ladyfish for me. Then we were off to catch the Goliath Grouper. I caught 2 very large Goliaths and my husband caught one, but the best part was when my husband hooked his second one and it straightened out the hook. Talk about exciting. I never thought there would be a fish that big that could straighten out a hook that size. We also went shark fishing and caught a nice sized stingray. We definitely got our money's worth and then some. He doesn't charge enough, but then it makes it affordable for everyone. Thanks Captain Randy for taking us fishing. Will definitely charter with Captain Randy again.
