Located on the St. Lucie Canal portion of the Okeechobee Waterway, St. Lucie South Campground is just 10 minutes from Stuart, Florida.
The exotic vegetation and tropical atmosphere provides an excellent location to camp, fish, picnic, boat, or enjoy hours of quiet contemplation.
The St. Lucie South Campground offers 9 RV/tent sites and 8 Cruiser sites with electric and water hook ups.
There are also 3 tent sites with no hook-ups.
Additional amenities include a dump station, hot showers, public phones, a playground, a boat ramp, and a shelter.
While enjoying nature's beauty, visitors may view boats and manatees locking through as they travel the Okeechobee Waterway. A nature trail is also located on the north side of the St. Lucie Lock.
Important Information
Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.
Gates open at 6am and close at 8pm.
Park attendants are on duty and the campground.
Cruiser sites are ONLY for boats that accommodate sleeping.
There is NO area for TENTS or RV's at these sites.
No vehicles or trailers allowed on tent sites.
Pets must be leashed.
This campground has first-come, first-served sites.
