I just went camping there June 19th - June 24th. We paid before we had a chance to check out the ENTIRE campground. I have to say it was disappointing. We paid the 33.00 per day for the sites with water and electric. You do NOT get to choose your site - you are assigned and that's that. The restrooms were filthy, there was no soap in the rest room the entire time we were there. The teenage girls they have working in the store are rude. Don't get me wrong there are many things to do there but the thing is you better bring tons of money. The pedal cars are 3.00 for 15 min. The mini golf is 1.50 per person. The swimming pool is 1.00 per person - per day. And the BOMBSHELL... PAY SHOWERS!!!! I have never had to pay to take a shower EVER!!! But they charge you... they have a machine in the shower area and if you don't put in quarters you don't get any water and if your quarter runs out you better have some more with you.

I think this place is great. If you have kids this is the palce to go always somthing going on from movies in the rec hall every saturday to the tramplline on the lake of the water volleyball court, horshoes mini golf, petel cars big enough for an adult to ride. there is a swimmpng pool for those of you that dont like lake water. I fish when im there right from my camp site. Yes they have some fees for there extras but go to a hotel that has the stuff that this place has and see what that cost you. and its not all that much as long as to set linets like the paddle boats are like $3.00 for 30 minutes and it a dollar a day for use of the pool and jacuzzi. the lake and everything on it are free. mini golf is about $1.50 a person find that price somwhere else. All around good time here and some people need to remember that its camping not the ritz. the whole place on on dirt Duh!!!

We went to this campground for Labor day weekend and will NEVER go back again! We had a water, electric, sewer site and couldn't use the sewer because the only way we could get our camper into the site is to back it up in between two trees with low branches and the sewer was on the oppisite site of our hook up. When we went to talk to the owner he said it is a defect in the Jayco design and was very rude! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out water can't travel up hill. We were not the only one's who had this problem over the weekend. The staff is very rude walking up and saying what do you want. And there is still no hand soap in the bathrooms!

I was there over Laborday weekend.there was a groop of seven campers theat went in a group. I thought the owner was very unpleasent to people. There was a sewer overflow and it ran down the street past our camper. One of our campers complained to the owner about the sewr problem. The owner told him he knew nothing about it. THAT was a lie. I personaly seen him drive his golfcart past the field and look at it,so he knew there was a problem. Therefore he lied to my friend. We were so crammed in it was like we were sardines. I figured out there were seven pop-up campers on 3 sites. Figure out how much money that guy received over this weekend. I will never go there again. And I am not there only one I heard say that. I hope other people quits going there also. The owner should not be aloud to own a campground as he is not a people person, which meand he don't know how to deal with people. He has a terriable attitude.

We called for reservations over the Burgoo weekened & they did not want our credit card to reserve as there were many openings. Guess what? We called to let them know we were on our way & they said called & left a message to go somewhere else no openings. The dude is rude & so are the young girls. His onterage???? What a joke they are always drunk. Love the place, yeah but no soap, dirty, expense for people with kids. Miss the lady of the place, Jan. She would always accomodate you & kept the place clean. I will be looking elsewhere as this was not the only time we were screwed on our reservations!!!!!!!!

My family and I have been camping here for 9 years. We've gone to many camp grounds and paid many different rates. We love this campground due to the security factor and mostly being family oriented. Campers forget that when they go camping your renting a portion of land for a period of time. You don't own that land, your on somone elses property. Please remember to respect other peoples property and you'll have a great time no matter where you go.

Why are these people so rude????? My friends cannot go there anymore, they did nothing wrong. We have all been camping since 1999 & we will no longer go if they cannot go. We really miss them. Tenting will be forever boreing. Sell yer place & get someone else new & change all the employees & get some nice people there. Chicago Bound!
