Sandy brown in color with black spots. Very small cartilage like teeth. Seemly no structure to body, firm skin but jelly like inside (seemed to have no bones). No dorsal fin. Very small caudal fin. Very small pelvic fins. Here is the kicker; it had 3 eyes in the shape of a triangle. The primary 2 eyes were way down by the snout and the 3rd was about 2 ½ inches above the first two forming a triangle. And yes, I saw the membranes moving across all 3 so I know it wasn’t my imagination.

I was on the fishing pier in St. Petersburg Florida fishing in salt water using nothing but cut up squid… The more I think of it I was pretty stupid for not going and buying a camera and snapping a couple of pictures.
