Powell Tiboron XL Fly Rod The NEW Tiboron XL Fly rod series is a new concept Extra-Fast Action fly rod that is considered by many to the BEST DISTANCE CASTING AND USER-FRIENDLY ROD ON THE PLANET. Utilizing Titanium and MaxumfiberTM material in its construction and assembly, we have created an Extra Fast Action fly rod series that launches line with ease without having to work too hard. Its light weight has superior balance and doesn't compromise on durability. Combining these materials with our Low Profile Sleek Ferruling System (LPSFS), we truly allow you to experience the ultimate in line speed and distance casting that you never dreamed possible. These rods also have incredible lifting power to battle big, powerful fish. When you need that little extra reach, or that enhanced lifting capability, the Tiboron XL delivers. The stripping guides are non-corrosive Titanium alloy with nanolite ring insert, while the snake guides are chrome.

  • Titanium stripping and light wire chrome snake guides
  • Half wells grip and Ti-Graphite reel seat, wire hook keeper and silver winding check on 3 through 6 wt rods
  • Full wells grip and up locking anodized Ti-graphite reel seat with 1 inch fighting butt on 7 through 9 wt rods, and 2-inch fighting butt on 10 through 12 wt rods
