Powell TiMax Fly Rod TiMax is our most popular and, perhaps, most versatile, all-around Fast-Action fly rod series, mainly due to our MaxumfiberTM material application. Maxumfiber, with an ultra-high modulus, high-resin content, enables our rod design team to manipulate construction parameters with less material, making the TiMax much lighter and better balanced than ever before. With one cast, you'll feel this rod perform with only a minimal application of power. This material is so sensitive; you'll swear you can almost feel a fish breathe on your fly! The stripping guides are non-corrosive Titanium alloy with nanolite ring insert, while the snake guides are light wire chrome.
