Assembly Instructions:
1.) Remove the Rig from lure bag. NOTE - Your Roll Tide Rig comes in a collapse position.
2.) Hold the head and turn the locking hub (clear nylon piece with 2 locking set screws) counterclockwise until there is a gap of approximately 2 mm between the composite head and the nylon lock hub. DO NOT BACK THE HUB COMPLETELY OFF.
3.) Move the four wires around and seat them in the slots that correspond to the wire peg hole. Support the wires with your other hand. Wires should be aligned 90° from each other.
4.) Slowly turn the lock hub clockwise while making sure that all of the wires are securely fitting into their head slots.
5.) Once the wires are properly seated, torque the hub down finger tight.
6.) Insert the supplied Allen wrench, into the hole on the side of the lock hub and torque down further.
7.) Then use the Allen wrench to lock the two set screws on the locking hub.
8.) Add your favorite lures and hook 'em up.
Changing Wires:
1.) Use the supplied Allen wrench to unlock the two set screws on the nylon locking hub. DO NOT REMOVE THE SCREWS COMPLETELY; JUST BACK THEM OFF A BIT.
2.) Hold the head and turn the locking hub counterclockwise until there is a gap of approximately 2.5 mm between the composite head and the nylon lock hub. DO NOT BACK THE HUB COMPLETELY OFF.
3.) Remove the wires.
4.) Now hold the head and turn the locking hub clockwise until there is a gap of approximately 2 mm between the head and the lock hub.
5.) Install the new set of wires one at a time, by working a wire between the head-hub gaps and inserting the end of the wire into one of the four peg holes in the head.
6.) While holding the head and the first installed wire in place with your other hand, insert the next wire into a peg hole that is 90° out from the first peg whole.
7.) Once this wire is securely in the peg hole, move the wire around next to the first wire and hold the head and the two installed wires in place.
8.) Insert the third wire into a peg hole that is 90° out from the second peg hole.
9.) Once this wire is securely in the peg hold, move it around next to the first two wires and hold the head and the three installed wires in place.
10.) Insert the last wire into a peg hole the remaining peg hole. This wire can be held in place 180° out from the other three wires with one hand.
11.) Turn the locking hub about 1/2 turn to keep all four of the wires from falling out of their peg holes and move the four wires around and seat them in the slots that correspond to the wire peg hole. Support the wires with your other hand. Wires should be aligned 90° from each other.
12.) Now slowly turn the lock hub clockwise while making sure that all of the wires are securely fitting into their head slots.
13.) Once the wires are properly seated, torque the hub down finger tight.
14.) Insert the supplied Allen wrench, into the hole on the side of the lock hub and torque down further.
15.) Then use the Allen wrench to lock the two set screws on the locking hub.
16.) Add your favorite lures.
Collapsing the Rig for Storage:
1.) Use the supplied Allen wrench to unlock the two set screws on the nylon locking hub. DO NOT REMOVE THE SCREWS COMPLETELY; JUST BACK THEM OFF A BIT.
2.) Hold the head and turn the locking hub (clear nylon piece with 2 locking set screws) counterclockwise until there is a gap of approximately 2 mm between the composite head and the nylon lock hub. DO NOT BACK THE HUB COMPLETELY OFF.
3.) Carefully move all four wires around until they are bunched together.
4.) Now slowly turn the lock hub clockwise enough to bite down on the wires and hold them in the head.
5.) Place your Rig in the nylon lure bag for convenient storage.
