Rigging Directions

3 Wire Model
Leave 1 wire in the center and bend the other 2 out to about a 45 degree angle. You can attach anything from swimbaits, jigs or curly tail grubs on the ends. For standard retrieve use slightly lighter lures, around 1/8oz, on the outsides and around a 3/8oz lure in the center. For deep retrieve use 3/8 to 1/2oz on all wires.

5 Wire Model
Bend 4 of the 5 wires outward to a 45 degree angle forming a box shape, leaving one wire in the center. 2 of the wires should be above the center wire and the other 2 should hang below. You can attach anything from swimbaits, jigs or curly tail grubs on the ends. For standard retieve put a lighter weight lure, around 1/8oz, on the outer four wires and one slightly heavier, around 3/8oz, in the center. For deep retrieve match the bottom 2 lures with the center, around 3/8 or 1/2oz, and keep the top two lures a little bit lighter, around 1/8oz.

6 Wire Model
Need a bigger school? Try D&L's new 6 wire model. This allows you to add another dummy lure, bait fish, spinnerbait, crankbait or whatever you decide to rig up to your school. Since there is an extra wire you can switch up the way you spread your wires. Be creative and try new lures and wire spreads, maybe you'll bring in the big fish.
