seems to work
I used the 5' swimbait in the gizzard shad patern. It has a good action and is nearly weedless when texas rigged with the supplied weighted hook. The first time I used this bait I called a fishing buddy over to show him how good it looked in the water. I made a cast to show him the action but before I could get the lure in where we could see it a 2# large mouth grabbed the bait. I have also caught smallmouth on this bait. I have not really fished this bait enough since there are many other presentations that I enjoy more than this type of presentation.

Biggest Advantage
good action, good color patterns, good acessories. It catches fish.

Biggest Disadvantage
kind of boring, you just cast it out and bring it in slow and steady.
